The lot consists of 6.3 km of new E18, which is a 2 lane road with a central reservation and overtaking areas.
The route follows the existing E18 through the built up area at Ørje, with a three meter wide central reservation and a speed limit of 70 km/h. From Sletta the new E18 will run along woodland to the national border, on the south side of the current E18. This will be a motorway with a speed limit of 90 km/h.
