The assignment consists of establishing the new Skjøiten bridge of over Mørkedøla as a prestressed concrete bridge. The adjacent road network on Rv 52 (National Road 52) will be improved. The existing bridge from 1937 and National Road 52 will be in operation throughout the entire construction period. National Road 52 is an important main traffic artery east-west.

The existing Skjøiten bridge will be demolished and environmentally cleared when the traffic is relocated to the new bridge. The new bridge is approx. 93 lineal metres. The bridge plate is approx. 83 lineal metres. The external width is 10 m and the internal guide width is 9 m. There are two land abutments and two columns of which one is down in the ravine. Land abutments and columns will be established on rock. The bridge will have bitumen-stabilised damp proofing and asphalt road surface. Railings are standard Norwegian Public Roads Administration with transitions to rail railings on the road. The bridge will have cable conduit pipes, but not lighting. A new farm will be established to a property and a ski trail. The exit to Liovegen will be improved. Cables and pylons for Hemsedal Energi will be rerouted. Sub-drains in National Road 52 on the parcel will be replaced. The bridge crossing area for the new Skjøiten bridge is located in challenging terrain, where Mørkedøla lies in a ravine with a depth of 8 m-12 m.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

The tenderer must be a legally established company or consist of a group of suppliers who are legally established companies. The requirement also applies to business that the tenderer relies on.

Documentation requirement: certificate from the Register of Business Enterprises or an equivalent certificate of legal registration in the country where the tenderer, or the businesses that jointly are the tenderer, are established, as well as for all supporting businesses. Completed table in chapter E2.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

1) tenderers must have good economic and financial capacity to complete the contract;

2) tenderers must have an equity ratio of at least 10 %;

3) average annual turnover during the last 3 years must be a minimum of NOK 50 million.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

The tenderer must have sufficient experience of relevant nature and degree of difficulty from the following works:

1) The main disciplines included in the assignment: road construction, traffic deviation, construction of bridge and rock securing works.

Documentation requirement: a list of up to eight and no less than four contracts that the tenderer has carried out or is in the process of carrying out, during the last 5 years from the tender deadline. NPRA and other builders' experiences with the tenderer will be appraised. The tenderer must have a system showing that they work pro-actively to ensure safety, health and working environment (SHA), with relevance for equivalent works to those included in this contest. The system will be subject to regular audits. The tenderer and their central contractual partners must have an average H1 value lower than 15 for the last three years. Tenderers must be certified or is in the process of being certified in accordance with ISO 14001 (2015), EMAS (EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme for environmental management), or the Eco-Lighthouse certification scheme, with relevance to equivalent public transport projects. Tenderers must be certified or is in the process of certification in accordance with ISO 9001 (2015), with relevance to comparable transport projects.
