Submarine surveys shall be carried out in the area between Voksa and Kvamsøy islands in Møre og Romsdal County. Submarine tunnels are planned here to connect the islands with the mainland (Åram).
Acoustic profiling and refraction seismic surveys have previously been carried at sea and on land. The surveys were administered by Sande fastlandssamband AS.

In connection with the municipal sector plan for the E39 Stord-Os, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration plans to construct an approx. 5 000 m bridge over Bjørnafjord between Røtinga and Rekstern. 2015-04-10E39 Rogfast — refraction seismic surveys on land and at sea (Statens vegvesen Region vest)
E39 Rogfast is a submarine tunnel between Randaberg and Bokn, which is being engineered, with an arm up to Kvitsøy in Rogaland.
Acoustic profiling and refraction seismic surveys have previously been carried at sea and on land. In addition directionally controlled core drilling has been carried out. The contract is for supplementary refraction seismic surveys to map the thickness of uncompacted matter and low speed zones over selected stretches of the planned tunnel.
