Bane NOR's project “ERTMS National Imolementation“ with the subprojects ‘Trackside', ‘Onboard’ and ‘Traffic Management System’ will enter into an Agreement with one supplier on the following;
— Independent safety assessor (ISA),
— Assessment body CSM-RA (AsBo),
— Notified body TSI CCS (NoBo).
The suppliers of the signalling system, the traffic management system and the onboard system will enter into their own ISA, AsBo og NoBo agreements for the systems they deliver.

The Norwegian National Rail Administration plans to procure a new on-board system.
This is a part of the renewal of the entire signalling system based on the ERTMS standard (joint European signalling system for railways).
