Fjell, Sund and Øygarden Municipalities were merged on 1 January 2020 to Øygarden Municipality, and chose at that time KLP as its supplier of an insurance pension scheme. The municipal council in Øygarden Municipality decided on 17 June 2021 that it will hold a new contest for an insurance scheme in autumn 2021.
Øygarden Municipality intends to ask for tenders based on administration in the tenderer's collective portfolio, and for tenders based on administration in a portfolio with a choice of investments.
