Construction UFP-01, Vestfold, is one of four basic contracts on the stretch between Larvik and Porsgrunn and includes ground and concrete work for parcel 12.1. The terrain is very hilly. There are a number of bridges, tunnels and a longer open-air stretch.The tunnel work comprises:— 850 m, Martineåsen, single-track access tunnel,— 3000 m, Martineåsen, double track tunnel,— 170 m, Askeklova, double track tunnel,— 230 m, Hovås, double track tunnel,— 1365 m, 2 cross cut and escape tunnel,— Securing bolts, 50 000,— Injection volume, 2 900 tonnes,— Studs, 1200 pieces for railway engineering objects,— 5 works areas with the addition of several mini works areas and construction roads,— 9 concrete portals, portal openings in conjunction with the tunnels including overhead doors,— 62 200 m², water and frost proofing with spray concrete and insulation/membrane,— 45 200 m², alternative tunnel vaults of insulated concrete elements with membrane.Open-air zone, 4,8 km double track sub-structure.— Mass removal, 1 200 000 m3,— High Voltage power tower foundations, 170,— Open air rock blasting, 305 000 m3,— Landfill work, six landfills, soil 100 000 m3, stone to landfill 500 000 m3.The bridge works comprise:— Paulertjønn bridge east (343 m),— Vassbotn bridge (438 m),— Kongeveien bridge (22 m),— Hobekk bridge (60 m),— Solum bridge (162 m),— Skillingsmyr bridge (72 m),— Wildlife crossing Paulertjønn, 27 m,— Wildlife crossing Tjønnemyr, 170 m,— Form work area, 92 000 m²,— Concrete volume, 40 600 m3,— Reinforcement volumes, 6 300 tonnes,— Spunt 3 200 m²,— Steel core piles 660 m.Sub-structure for the railway, conduits and piping works:— Reinforcement for railway sub-structure, 208 000m3,— Spillwater and drainage systems, sand traps manholes,— Concrete cable conduits, 27 000 m, on both sides of the tracks,— Re-concreted pipe crosses, 500 m,— Concrete pull chambers, 146,— Hanging mast mounting in tunnel, 212, and light mast mounting by open air rail tracks and on bridges, 240. Construction manager supplies the masts,— Water plant for fire, 3 800 m incl. 20 fire valve manholes,— Spillwater and drainage system,— 4 strethes of relocation of public road, the old E-18,— New local roads,— Rock Blasting in the day in connection with relocation of roads.
