Construction UFP-08 Eidanger the contract is one of four basic contracts on the stretch between Larvik and Porsgrunn and includes ground works on the stretch from km. 179,940 to km 182,850.Construction boundary with contract UFP-07 Storberget contract at km. 179,940 is about 500m into the tunnel from the open air zone Herregårdsbekken. The construction boundary at 182,850 is the end of parcel 12. Here is the transition between new and existing tracks.The contract comprises execution of the following major elements:- The establishment of rigging areas at worksite Pasadalen and Norcem.- Reconstruction of existing railway at Norcem- Excavation/blasting for new routes in the open air zone with new siding to Norcem and cuttings for West Eidanger tunnel.- The establishment of cutting and portal for exits/escape tunnel Pasadalen- The establishment of permanent road and emergency space by Portal at West Eidanger tunnel- The establishment of permanent road and emergency space by Portal at Pasadalen escape tunnel- Establishment of various site roads and landfills (Landfill 15 and 16)- Blasting of approx. 1 450 m of Skillingsmyr tunnel (approx. 132 and 152 m2)- Blasting of approx. 635 m combined cross connection/escape tunnel from Pasadalen (approx.. 52 m2)- Blasting of approx. 140 m parallel escape tunnel (approx. 25 m2)- Excavation/blasting for excavation of cut & cover- Transport excavated and blasted masses to landfill along the line (landfill 15 and 16), to Norcem's quarries at Bjørntvedt or to Herøya in Porsgrunn for filling in Gunnekleivfjorden.- Injection and permanent support in all tunnels- Installation of water and frost-proofing throughout Eidanger tunnel- Construction of track base in open-air zone and railway tunnels up to formation plan (including new side track to Norcem)- Various technical installations in the tunnel- Drainage pipes and plumbing for fire water in Eidanger tunnel- Drainage pipes in cross connection/escape tunnel Pasadalen- Various technical installations in the tunnel (Cable channels, pulling manholes, pipe intersections, various foundations, etc.)- Construction of portal at West Eidanger tunnel and Pasadalen exit- Construction of sluice walls in sluices between cross connection / escape tunnel and rail tunnel- Construction of approx. 45 m cut & cover at part of Eidanger tunnel with small cover- Construction of technical building at Vallemyrene, portal at West Eidanger tunnel and in the tunnel at junction between cross connection and main tunnel.- Construction of Norcem bridge (including ground works and foundations).
