VAV has approx. 1,500,000 tonnes of stones lying as bias in Gilhusbukta in Lier. VAV is obliged to remove the matter by 2026 and therefore need to dispose of the matter. There is not yet clarification on how much of the matter must be disposed of/removed due to, amongst other things, varying settlement.
It may turn out to be significantly less than 1.5 million tonnes that need to be removed.

The aim of the procurement is to cover the New Water Supply Oslo project's need for a tenderer that can handle approx. 1,210,000 tonnes of matter produced by the tunnel drilling machine (hereafter callee TBM matter) from the E6 Clean Water Tunnel, with an option for up to 560,000 TBM matter from the contract E5 Raw Water Tunnel.
