2011-12-22New dam Svartavatnet - Construction management (Bergen kommune forsyning)
Bergen municipality, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall construct a new dam at Svartavatnet at Gullfjellet. The dam shall be executed as a buttress dam with maximum height of approx. 35 m and crest of the dam length of approx. 100 m. The dam works will include constructional engineering contract:
Excavation works; approx. 5 000 m3, blasting works; approx. 3 000 m2, formworks; approx. 13 500 m2, reinforcement approx. 500 000 kgs and concrete; approx. 2 500 m3.

Bergen municipality, the Water and Sewage Department, administers water and sewage installations that include over 100 km of tunnels and rock halls. Since 2007 inspections have been carried out for control and securing measures have been implemented in order to take care of safety from collapses and avalanches in many of the installations.

Bergen municipality shall construct a new dam at Svartavatnet on Gullfjellet. The dam shall be constructed as a buttress dam with a maximum height of 35 m and the crest of the dam shall be approx. 100m.
