The contract is for the engagement of a project coordinator for clearing environmental toxins in sediments in Bergen harbour.
The following activities are planned for the period 2013-2014:
— Working out a detailed initiative plan for Vågen.
— Engineering design services for and working out the tender documents for the initiative.
— Carry out mapping and implementation of initiatives on prioritised land sources.
— Follow up of initiatives in Kirkebukten as regards the measurement of the effect of the implemented cover.
— Update the risk assessment and initiative plan for Puddefjorden and Store Lungegårdsvann.
The project coordinator is professionally and administratively responsible for the execution, follow up and coordination of the planned activities in the project.

The framework agreement is for 2 years from when the contract is signed. In addition the awarding authority shall have an option for a contract extension for up to a further 2 years, total maximum 4 years.

(2) A statement of the quality assurance/quality control system operated by the company.

Documentation is required of systems and routines that ensure that the execution of the contract has a low impact on the environment (see the qualification documents for further details on the requirement).
