A Framework Agreement for the Purchase of Translation Services between Norwegian and English

The main aim of this procurement is to cover DSS’ and the joint ministries' need for translation services between Norwegian and English.
DSS intends to establish a framework agreement that covers translation services of texts from Norwegian to English and English to Norwegian. There will also be a need for quality assurance of translated text and text editing and proofreading of these texts.
The texts that are to be translated will be of a different and complex nature, depending on the ministries' character and changeable needs.
The duration of the framework agreements will be 1 year from the contract signing, with the possibility for an option for a further 3 years, 1 year at a time. The maximum duration of the contract will be 4 years in total.
The aim is to enter into parallel framework agreements with 2 to 4 suppliers, but this assumes a sufficient number of tenderers.
