2020-50 County Road 63 Korsmyra — Indreeide

Project county road 63 Korsmyra-Indreeide shall carry out landslide prevention measures for the road between Korsmyra in Stranda municipality and Indreeide in Fjord municipality. A new road shall be constructed with an approx. length of 5.3 km. Approx. 4.9 km of this road include a tunnel.
The geographical area of the project is partly in Geiranger-Herdalen in the protected landscape area and partly in an area listed as a World Heritage (West Norwegian Fjords – Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord).
The entire stretch is also included in the list of National tourist tracks in Geiranger - Trollstigen. The project's
Geographical location result in an increased focus on safeguarding the outer environment for the area.
The contract T2 including tunnels bridge, deflection mound and road work is a turnkey contract. Engineering design and
Construction work for an approx. 4.8 km long tunnel in T8.5 profile with two portals with a joint length of approx. 100 metres,
Technical buildings and complete electrical installation works. The tunnel must be complete safety approved before
Handed over to the contracting authority.

A tender contest/tender inspection will be held 26 May (12:00) in Eidsdal in Fjord municipality. Meet at Eidsdal ferry quay.
