510642-Expansion of Central Treatment Plant at Nord Jæren - B1 - Construction and engineering works

IVAR IKS

The central treatment plant at Nord - Jæren shall be expanded and rebuilt with active sludge for compliance with the secondary treatment requirements. As part of this work it shall be established new access to the existing underground facilities and existing underground facilities shall be rebuilt, renovated and expanded with new caverns and new features.
This contract, B1, consists of the following:
- Demolition of the existing parts of the existing treatment plant, including the removal of machinery systems and materials.
- Blasting of the caverns, scaling of the rock surfaces, securing the rock and the output of the blasted rock / soil.
- Concrete including steel works.

The developer IVAR IKS has access to a private landfill which is located approx. 600 meters from the new cavern. If the contractor itself will have jurisdiction over the blasted rocks to the landfill site will this be considered by the developer, the requirement for consideration is that the landfill is approved by the county Governor and the municipality. If the landfill is not approved by the county Governor / municipal, the contractor must apply as soon as possible. (NT Ref:299389)
