Fv 164 the Løkkås tunnel and Leif Larsens road

The project area is situated near the centre of Sandvika in Bærum municipality. A tunnel trough Løkkåsen shall be constructed. The tunnel shall lead the traffic out of the centre of Sandvika. The southern section of Fv 164 (County road 164); Leif Larsens vei shall be downsized to access roads to residence area. A foot/bicycle path from the centre to the roundabout in Brynsveien shall be constructed. Traffic dangerous gateways to Fv 164 Brynsveien and Fv 164 Leif Larsens vei shall be removed by constructing a new joint access road to Skytterstien through Gamle Solbergsvei. Various cable and pipe routes shall be established. The project will mainly include: Tunnel through Løkkåsen from Engervannsveien to Skytterdalen/Leif Larsens vei. Length approx. 180 m. including portals. Road improvement/upgrading of Leif Larsens vei from Skytterdalen (tunnel portal) to Brynsveien. Length approx. 200 m. Road improvement of Leif Larsens vei from Engervannsveien – Skytterdalen in the form of downsizing to access road. Length approx 320 m. Access to Skytterstien via Gamle Solbergvei. Length approx. 445 m. Structures, mainly 2 tunnel portals and 4 retaining walls in addition to repairs of existing retaining walls. Technical system. Cable tray for high-voltage power line, 2 cable ducts. Length approx. 40 m. See the tender documents.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The tender documents describe two options:
Option 1: Gamle Solbergsvei: The option includes pavement widening, ditches, pylons and land drainage on a 200 m long section. Deadline for releasing the option: 6.1.2012;
Option 2: Cable duct Leif Larsens vei. The option includes construction of 2 cable ducts across Leif Larsens vei. Length approx. 40 m. The option also includes extensive protection works for the existing telecommunication duct. Deadline for releasing the option: 27.5.2012. The tender deadline is not influenced by execution of options. See the tender documents.
