The framework agreement includes translation services, text editing and proofreading. The contracting authority must be able to provide this in all languages the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training should need, with the exception of the Sami languages which are included in another framework agreement.
The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training will mainly need text editing, translation services and proofreading for Bokmål and Nynorsk, between Bokmål and Nynorsk, between Bokmål and English and between Nynorsk and English. The public sector in Norway uses British English as standard, and it is British English that must be used.
The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training spends between NOK 1 000 000 and 2 000 000 annually on services related to translations, text editing and proofreading in all languages except for the three Sami languages.
The scope will vary with changes in political priorities and the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training's ongoing assignment portfolio.
The agreement period is 4 new years. Option for extension is not applicable.
The contracting authority will enter into a framework agreement with one provider.
