Extended, detailed description. Kristiansand municipality would like to establish 42 new sheltered accommodation flats that are facilitated for persons for cognitive failure/dementia. Functions such as a cafe, shop, hairdressers, etc. will be established by the flats. Areas for zone offices and a day centre will also be developed in the same project.

Strømme welfare centre includes the following functions:
— 42 sheltered accommodation flats, established as 6 shared houses for 7 persons,
— cafe, shop, club room, well-being room/foot therapy, hairdressers and meeting rooms,
— day centre for 3 groups of 14 places,
— zone office for home services in Randesund/Tveit. 2 departments for a total of 40 persons,
— car park basement for 27 electric vehicles,
— conservatories connected to the shared houses,
— footbridges and roof gardens,
— alterations to a minor part of the existing building.
The buildings consist of 6 building parts, total approx. 6200 m2:
— Buildings 1-3 sheltered accommodation flats,
— Building 4 zone office, cafe, meeting rooms and car park basement,
— Building 5 day centre,
— Building 6 shop, foot therapy, hairdressers,
