Hausmannsgate 37-39 is a part of an old city district from approx. 1870 and comprises 4 buildings in a joint row facing Hausmannsgate. The two building in the middle are old and they were built in 1894 and 1899 for Oslo water and sewerage department and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. In 1922 the premises were extended with equivalent building units on each side. The buildings are in 3 levels and made of brick. The floors are casted surfaces with wooden beam layer.
