Digitalisation of technical archives

Skedsmo Kommune

The assignment includes digitalisation and accessibility to the technical archives. I.e. all tasks from collecting and transporting the archives until they are digitised in accordance with routines, imported to the contracting authority's archive system, and until the physical archive files are delivered agreed upon reception/disposal facility. The digitised archive documents shall, after being quality assured, be imported to the contracting authority's case/archive system (historic Noark5 base), in accordance with agreed upon frequency The various case folder types shall be separable. The tenderer shall also offer and operate a free access to information system for case workers, in connection with searches and display of the digital documents both during and after (if required) the completion of the assignment. The assignment is considered approved and delivered after the contracting authority has verified that the assignment is completed in accordance with signed contract.

The aim is to maintain the value of the information that is currently in the paper archive and at the same time make the archives more accessible and simpler to search in and extract information from for internal users, and in the long term also for external users.
