MuseumsIT intends to enter into a framework agreement for future procurements of a telephony system, including subscriptions, telephony and mobile data traffic. The aim of the procurement is to:
— Ensure the establishment of cost-efficient and future orientated use of telephony systems;
— Enable an integrated IT and mobile system that allows for efficient communication and interaction in the organisation;
— Make use of the best mobile coverage in the market;
— Ensure the market's best terms for the museums;
— Ensure an option for simple and uniform administration and subscription overview as well as options for fleet management;
— Ensure an option to analysis service use and costs.

The contract is for telephony, including subscriptions, mobile telephony and mobile data traffic, possibly landline telephony. In addition a tool for an exchange function, as well as the establishment of a joint SIP-trunk for use with Microsoft Lync (Skype for Business). The contracting authority will operate the Lync system itself.Most of the volume will be for mobile telephony. Where there is no satisfactory coverage, the user shall use a landline via the SIP-trunk system including Lync/Skype for business.The data use is ever increasing whilst calls and messages are stable. Favourable prices for roaming contracts with foreign mobile operators is also important.Mobile telephony is an important work tool in the museums and there are high requirements for quality and availability, both for daily use and in crises and for standby. User-friendly systems to administer the contracting authority's mobile subscriptions and queue functions are also important.MuseumsIT provides IT services to a number of museums.
