The competition is for a service procurement for archive depot services for Øvre Eiker municipality, hereafter called the customer/awarding authority/ØEK. The archive depot services shall give the awarding authority a complete offer comprising both the physical and organisational, in accordance with the archive law’s and the archive regulation’s terms. Electronic archives are also included.
The general need for digitalising must be dealt with.

Tenderers shall enclose documentation from the National Archives of Norway or that documentation has been requested so that Øvre Eiker municipality is within the Archive Act with regulations (Act of 4.12.1992 no. 126 and regulations from 11.12.1998 no. 1193, as well as the Administration Act with regulations and the Public Act.

Begrunnelse for rammeavtaler med varighet over fire år:
4 year contract with an option for an extension of up to 10 years, 1 year at a time. This is because it will untenable to move all of the municipality’s archives more frequently. Cf. § 6-1 (4) and point 3.3 in the tender documents.
— The investments that must be made for this framework agreement are permanent technical installations that are integrated in the building and that serve the building’s usefulness and that have a write-down period of 10 years,
— The depot archive is calculated to approx. 1 km future shelf space, shall have a storage time up to “forever” and therefore it is not suitable that it is moved every 4 years,
— Other special conditions as regards work with the arrangement, cataloguing and digitalising of the archive.
