Contract railway engineering; ski station - depositing track

Start of works is approx. 15.9.2011.
All works are expected to be concluded within 2.2.2013, these include clearance works and transportation of equipment.
The main objective of Contract JBT-91 and JBT-92 is to establish a depositing track for train operators at Ski Station. The works include railway engineering works for the project "establishment of depositing track" and includes works from stage 00.40 to the main stage 20.
Contract JBT-91superstructure, contact line, electric power, and telecommunication system comprises of the following main works:
— Establishment of 4 depositing tracks, with train heating system and service facilities for train operators,
— Technical building south (TBS) with 22 kV switchgear with input from local distribution network, generators and switchgear for 1 000 V train heating system (2x2, 3 MVA). 400 v supply (500 kVA) to points heating, tele-engineering system and general electrical installations,
— Altered track line for Eastern line,
— Connection to new operation phases in accordance with phase plans. Phase 00.40 to 20.00 and total break.
Contract JBT-92 Signalling system comprises of the following main works:
— Modifications and couplings in internal railway signalling plant (NSI-63),
— Commissioning of provisional railway signalling plant,
— Connection to new operation phases in accordance with phase plans. Phase 00.40-20.00 and total break.
The train traffic shall go as normal during the entire construction period. The works have close current-carrying systems to the running train traffic and the contractor must adapt safety routines in relation to this. Standstills of train traffic are scheduled for several weekends.
These standstills are regulated by contract and cannot be rescheduled. The progress (contractor) must have focus on reaching the scheduled standstills and the planned assignments must be carried out during these standstills. It is a condition that the contractor has references from equivalent projects) and to a large degree, engages employees with corresponding experience.
