The contract's extent and scope:The contract stretches geographically from Sveum Sports Park to approx. 200 m below the railway bridge, along a total river stretch of approx. 1 450 m. The contract is divided into an upper part and a lower part. The divide goes by the internal bridge between Brumunddal Business Park and Moelven Langmoen (bridge 1), which is approx. 100 m upstream from the railway bridge. The contract's scope is stated in the tender drawings. Cf. chapter C.3.1The upper part stretches for approx. 1 150 m. Flood protection measures and habitat measures shall only be carried out at points and on stretches here. The work will mainly consist of machine work.Complete new installations shall be developed in the lower part. This consists of, amongst other things, new flood protection and habitat measures, a new promenade and resting places, bridge foundations and supporting walls, cable ditches and lighting, water and sewage installations.Flood protection upper partCf. the drawings B22-501, 502 and 503.The flood protection work mainly consists of the establishment of pitched foot ditches as well as the establishment of a total of 16 bottom thresholds. The riverside slopes shall be protected from erosion and the existing pitching shall be developed in some areas. The existing pitching shall also be developed and adapted to existing walls along the river. A lack of transition between existing pitching and older pitching as well as some other constructions shall be improved when new pitching is laid. The work also includes some habitat measures equivalent to what is to be carried out on the lower part. Some repairs of or supplements to older pitching shall also be carried out.— Clearing fields: Approx. 3 000 m2.— Excavation: Approx. 13 000 m3.— New erosion protection: Approx. 5 400 m3.— New filter layer: Approx. 2 600 m3.— Supplement of old erosion protection to the degree required: Approx. 400 m3.— 16 bottom thresholds: Approx. 4 000 m3.Revegetation: Approx. 700 m2.Flood protection lower part:The flood protection work includes raising the river banks to a level that is secure from flooding. This will partly be done by raising the terrain and partly be establishing supporting walls. River slopes shall be secured from erosion. This will partly be done by establishing new pitching and partly by uncovering and — to the degree necessary — repairing/supplementing the existing pitching/stone filling. In addition some sills are to be established in the river. The bottom shall be lowered in the area around the railway bridge by casting a concrete slab under the bridge. The concrete slab shall be plastered at the bottom both upstream and downstream. The work also includes some habitat measures for fish. C. drawing B22-002.The main amounts are as follows:— Demolition of concrete constructions 230 tons;— Clearing fields: Approx. 6 000 m2.— Excavation: Approx. 7 500 m3.— New erosion protection: 3 200 m3.— New filter layer: 1 500 m3.— Supplement of old erosion protection to the degree required: Approx. 500 m2.— Bottom plastering: Approx. 900 m3.— 3 bottom thresholds: Approx. 900 m3.— Revegetation: 6 000 m2.— Extension flood mounds: 2 700 m3.— Concrete/lean concrete: Approx. 280 m3.The river promenadeA new promenade and resting places shall be established from bridge 1 down to the area by the old roadside cafe. A land abutment shall be cast for a new footbridge and some other concrete constructions shall be made. There will also be some demolition work, mainly of concrete constructions. The main amounts are as follows:— Concrete/lean concrete: Approx. 140 m3.— Excavation: Approx. 500 m3.— Filling: Approx. 600 m3.— Reinforcement layer: Approx. 1 500 m2.— Base course: Approx. 3 750 m2.— Asphalt: Approx. 1 700 m2.— Gravel cover: Approx. 1 600 m2.— Kerbstones: Approx. 280 lm— Slabs and paving stones: Approx. 200 m2.— Fences and railings: Approx. 630 lm.— Bushes, planting and grass: 1 450 m2.
