Rehabilitation of Hasle rectifier station and the Rommen/Ammerud rectifier station

The acquisition applies to the rehabilitation of the Hasle rectifier station and the Rommen/Ammerud rectifier station.
The rectifier stations have been in operation over the expected lifetime and it is therefore a need for rehabilitation (of the electrical equipment). There shall also be a need for some structural updates and adaptations for the new equipment that shall be installed.
The following works/deliveries are covered by the acquisition: 12 kV switchgear systems, rectifier transformers, station transformers, rectifiers, 750Vdc switchgear systems, ventilation systems, fire alarm systems, control and monitoring, masonry works, plastering, painting, roofing. The contractor must perform detailed designs of electrical engineering for the rectifier stations and other installations are included with the delivery. The design materials shall be sent to Sporveien for a construction review. For the Ammerud rectifier station there must be performed drainage of the buildings. There shall not be listed new technical buildings for the rectifier stations.
The estimated value for the Hasle rectifier station: 15 000 000 NOK, - excl. VAT.
The planned physical works startup for the Hasle rectifier station: approx. 15.08.2014.
The planned completion for the Hasle rectifier station: approx. 1.4.2015.
The estimated value for the Rommen or Ammerud rectifier stations: 15 000 000 NOK, - excl. VAT.
The planned physical works startup for the Rommen/Ammerud rectifier stations: approx. 1.10.2014.
The planned completion of the Rommen/Ammerud rectifier stations: approx. 1.6.2015.
The acquisition shall be divided into two contracts; one contract for each rectifier station which shall be rehabilitated, including Hasle rectifier station and either the Rommen rectifier station or the Ammerud rectifier station. The Awarding Authority shall consider whether suppliers meet the qualification requirements against the two contracts that comprise with the acquisition. Thus, shall a supplier be considered as eligible to submit tenders for one or two of the contracts.
To date, it is not certain whether it shall be the Rommen rectifier station or Ammerud rectifier station that shall be rehabilitated. The scope, however, shall be approximately equal. For this reason, the Awarding Authority reserves the right to specify the rectifier station which shall constitute one contract in the tender documents.
