Framework agreement for deposit/delivery of archive databases

A Framework agreement shall be entered into for consultancy service in relation to archive extraction from electronic databases for deposit/delivery to the National Archives. Interdisciplinary departmental work has been initiated with deposit/delivery of archive extractions from archive databases in the Norwegian Ministries fellowship. The works are to be executed in close cooperation with the National Archives and the Government Administration Services (G.A.S.). The latter henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority.
The framework agreement shall include both archive extraction from older, accrued databases and shall be conducted in 2 stages.
Stage 1: Archive extraction from older databases.
The assignment includes approx. 10 archive extractions of older closed databases that shall be deposited/delivered to the National Archives. 4 test extractions from various types of databases. E.g. 2 from DocuLive with and without electronic files, 1 from Websak, 1 with data converted from ModuLink and/or Jass/Onfile, and possibly other variants.
The test extractions shall be dispatched jointly to the National Archives. The test extractions shall be approved by the National Archives before further archive extractions are made from the remaining databases. The National Archives shall, during the process, assists and guide the supplier. All archive extractions from the older databases shall be approved by the National Archives within end of 2014.

Stage 2 consecutive archive extractions.
After the archive extractions from the older databases are completed and approved, the ministries will require consecutive archive extractions in relation to ordinary accruals during the agreement period; approx. 60 archive extractions. These are to be sent consecutively to the National Archives for ordinary approval process. See Annex 1 in the contractual documents for further information.
