Jernbaneverket

This qualification is for a contract for low voltage in the project Holm - Nykirke (UHN). The Holm - Nykirke lot is 14.2 km of which 12.3 km is a tunnel. This tunnel includes Holmestrand station in a rock hall and 11 escape tunnels are to be constructed in addition. There is a lot of activity both in and outside the tunnels and tenderers must reckon on extensive cooperation with other actors in the project. The estimated construction start is May 2014. The contract will run until autumn 2017. The tender period for qualified companies/tenderer groups will be approx. 1.5 months from December 2013. Negotiations with a minimum of three tenderers will be held in approx. February 2014 and the contract is expected to be signed in the beginning of March 2014. The procurement will be made after negotiations and Jernbaneverket intends to enter into a contract based on the economic most advantageous tender based on the criteria that will be in the tender documents for the tender phase. Jernbaneverket can reduce the number of tenders that are negotiated based on the award criteria. The first reduction can occur before the negotiations, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations §20-11 (1) and (2). The contract will be based on an awarding authority managed execution contract. Some engineering design services in accordance with NS 8405, point 13.1 must, as usual, be reckoned with for railway contracts.
