New double track Oslo – Ski; Contract: SKI 2B depositing track

The assignment is one of the contracts which shall be implemented for the new double track on the Oslo – Ski section. The entire section is proposed to be divided into several development stages, where the Ski station is the first development stage. Ski station consists of several construction stages. This contract is one of several contracts that are included in construction stage 2.
Start of works is approx. 1.8.2011.
All works shall be completed within 12.12.2012, including clearing and removal of excavation residues and equipment.
The main object of the contract Ski 2B is to establish a depositing track for train operators at ski station. The works involves substructure works for the project "establishment of depositing track" and includes works from stage 00.40 to the main stage 20.
Contract ski 2B comprises of the following main works:
— Establishment of 4 depositing tracks and 2 service ramps for train operators,
— Fill replacement for sections of the main track and the depositing area,
— Fill replacement for Eastern Line,
— Technical building south (TBS).
The train traffic shall go as normal during the entire construction period. The works have close current-carrying systems to the running train traffic and the contractor must adapt safety routines in relation to this. The current carrying systems are contractual and cannot be relocated.
The progress (contractor) must have focus on reaching the planned train breaks and the scheduled assignments must be carried out during these breaks. It is a condition that the contractor has references from equivalent project(s) and to a large degree, engages employees with corresponding experience.
