The Norwegian government c/o the Ministry of Justice and the Police shall procure all weather search and rescue helicopters (SAR helicopters) and associated equipment and services. The overall aim for the Norwegian helicopter service is to offer safety for people at sea, in inaccessible terrain and in difficult situations where other resources are not sufficient.
