The Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI), established in 2015, is a political initiative and a multi-donor trust fund under the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office. CAFI's goal is to assist partner countries in reducing emissions from forests and at the same time improve the living conditions for the local population.

2022-04-04Tender contest for forestry planning in Helgeland 2022-2024 (Statskog SF Hovedkontoret)
Forestry planning shall be carried out with revision of the environmental registrations for Grane, Vefsn, Hattfjelldal and Hemnes municipalities in Helgeland in Nordland County in the period 2022-2024. The project covers 1.3 million decare of productive forest area. The project is carried out as a joint assessment where Statskog and the private forest owners own approx. 50% each.

The assignment consists of valuations of forest areas that lie within the agreed municipal sector plan E18 Dørdal-Tvedestrand (estimated to approx. 26 300 decares), including the stretches E18 Dørdal-the national border, E18 the national border-Pinesund and E18 Pinesund-Tvedestrand, as well as E18 Arendal-Grimstad (estimated to approx. 6 700 decares).
