Norwegian Nuclear Decommissioning (NND) has been given the task of clearing up after Norway's nuclear activities at Kjeller and in Halden. Decommissioning of the sites involves, amongst other things, that radioactive material must be stored safely. NND has initiated a process for development of disposal solutions for all classes of radioactive waste. During the process, several reports on the topic have been drawn up. Norwegian Nuclear Decommissioning has been given the task of clearing up after Norway's nuclear activities at Kjeller and in Halden. Decommissioning of the sites involves, amongst other things, that radioactive material is securely stored in a land fill. NND has started a process to develop land fill solutions for all classes of radioactive waste.
