E39 Rogfast is a subsea road tunnel between Randaberg and Bokn, with an arm up to Kvitsøy in Rogaland. Seismic surveys(in the sea and on land) and directional core drilling from land have previously been carried out. Directional core drilling shall now be carried out from a drilling ship in an area of the tunnel route where there is no rock exposure above sea level.
