The Norwegian National Rail Administration plans to procure a new on-board system.
This is a part of the renewal of the entire signalling system based on the ERTMS standard (joint European signalling system for railways). The objective is to renew the signalling installations on the railway network by 2030. The renewal includes an external signalling system, on-board equipment in trains and a traffic management system.
