Opera Commons — Ground and concrete works (Bjørvika Infrastruktur AS)
The Opera Commons, of approximately 4 000 m, will be established in the forecourt of the new Deichmanske Public Library in Bjørvika, between Dronning Eufemias gate (street), Langkaigata and Operagata. Parts of the surrounding road network will also be redeveloped, and an amphitheatre will be established toward the waters edge at the Opera House. The aim of the assignment is to establish a 2 way tram in Prinsens gate as well as give the street an aesthetic lift from the junction Fred Olsens gate to Nedre Vollgate (over Wessels plass).
