Bjørvika Infrastruktur AS

The Opera Commons, of approximately 4 000 m, will be established in the forecourt of the new Deichmanske Public Library in Bjørvika, between Dronning Eufemias gate (street), Langkaigata and Operagata. Parts of the surrounding road network will also be redeveloped, and an amphitheatre will be established toward the waters edge at the Opera House. In this regard, Bjørvika Infrastruktur AS (BI) invites tenderers to pre-qualification on contract K125-1, Opera Commons, ground and concrete works.

The majority of ground and concrete works on the Opera Commons. The contract shall also establish technical installations such as, district heating installations, local cooling installations, local heating installations, high voltage installations, ICT systems and Water and Sewage installations. Main deliveries in the contract include:

— Approx. 160 m surface water pipe and three surface water manholes;
— Stair amphitheatre and quay front of prefabricated concrete elements, with light granite surface;
— Conduit manholes, conveyance paths and foundations for lighting pylons;
— Demolition of the old quay front at Palékaia;
— Construction of Operagata with a length of approx. 100 m and width approx. 10 m.
The contract is part of the development of the Opera Commons in fields A30 and E2 and upgrading of the surrounding street structure, including square/passage on field A25. A stair amphitheatre shall also be built toward the fjord and the Opera House. The contract boarders with Dronning Eufemias street to the north, Langkaigata to the west, the fjord to the north, and ongoing construction of the Deichmanske Public Library (field A8) to the east.

Tenderers shall be a legally established company. The following documentation shall accompany the application:
— Overview of company structure, owners and ownership structure.
— Company Registration Certificate with org. Number (Foreign tenderers can submit an equivalent certificate as determined by the legislations in the country where the tenderer is registered as a company. The certificate shall be delivered with a copy translated into English or Norwegian if the original document is not in either of these languages).

Contract K125-1 includes the majority of the ground works, infrastructure works and concrete works in the project. Complete development of a 1,600 m2 artificial water table. An in-situ cast concrete slab shall form the base of the water table, and there are very strict requirements for the surface, quality and accuracy of the performance of this. The concrete slab shall also have embedded cooling/freezing pipes, so that the water can be used for ice skating during winter. The total volume of the concrete slab will be less than 500 m
