Sporveien Oslo AS is responsible for the infrastructure for the operation of both trams and the metro railway in the Oslo region. Sporveien Oslo AS intends to upgrade the existing level crossings (approx. 20 including pilot) along the Lilleaker railway and the Ekeberg railway in the period 2014 to 31.12.2018. In addition a number of level crossings for the underground network (approx. 11) could also be upgraded.
