Difi has developed and run the ID-gateway, which is a joint infrastructure for e-ID in the public sector. The services included in this procurement has the previous 10 years been provided by Norsk Tipping’s, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, 50 % owned subsidiary company Buypass AS. This company was established for the purpose of cooperation between the Awarding Authority and the Norwegian Post (now: EDB Ergo-Group AS, which owns the remaining 50 % of the company).
