Kort beskrivelse:

1) The contracting authority wants to enter into a two year framework agreement for purchase of speech system accessories with active hearing protection devices to TETRA hand-held radio terminals, with an option to extend for one year + one year.

The purpose of the procurement is to both reduce damaging noise as well as increase the information flow and safety in noisy environments for crews in operative situations.

Use of multi-PTT (push-to-talk) will also ensure more efficient management of multiple connections. Personal noise protection will be part of the personal protective equipment.

The following equipment is included in the contracts with the following estimated quantities for Bergen Fire Service:

The purchase contract will have a duration that follows the lifetime of the speech system equipment, estimated to be eight years. I.e. the purchase contract applies as long as the speech system equipment from the framework agreement, from this contest, is operative.

2. The contracting authority wants a two year service contract for operation and maintenance of the equipment, with an option to extend for one year + one year.

3. Option: The contracting authority wants it to be possible for other fire services to join the contract

As an option, with expanded scope as a consequences, the following fire service will have the possibility of joining the contract with written notification to the service provider during the lifetime of the framework agreement.

- Askøy Municipality

- Kvam Herad

- Osterøy Municipality

- Samnanger Municipality

- Vaksdal Municipality

It will be the same price and contract terms for other fire services as for Bergen Fire Service. On connection, individual contract terms will be established between the service provider and the connected fire service.

The contracting authority is uncertain of the procurement scope, but estimates the combined contract value for the contract, including options for the extended contract period and options for joining the contract, could be around NOK 6,500,000, excluding VAT.

Hereunder, the scope for Bergen Fire Service is estimated to amount to around 5 million excluding VAT of the total estimated scope.

The remaining scope depends on any affiliations.

NB reservations related currency exchange rates will result in rejection.

This estimate does not carry any obligations for the contracting authority or rights for the supplier.
