The crematorium at Alfaset was constructed in 2009. The crematorium does not have satisfactory capacity for an increasing number of cremations. In addition it does not provide an optimum working environment nor fulfil government environmental emission requirements.
The site has 4 crematorium ovens. After 10 years of operation, renovation is now required at the site. The complete flue gas system, including flue gas cooler, fabric filters and filters of carbon bed, id-fans and channels must be replaced with a new complete and separate flue gas cooling and cleaning line for each of the four crematoriums. The crematorium's functionality still works after 10 years of operation, but the fireproof lining must be replaced and is part of the renovation. The coffin insertion systems are in good condition, but the hydraulics (pump and valve system) must be replaced with 4 new independent systems.

Requirement: tenderers must be a legally established company.
Documentation: Norwegian companies: Certificate of Business Registration
Foreign companies: proof that the company is registered in a trade or business register as prescribed by the law of the country where the company is established.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Requirement: the tenderer must have the economic capacity to implement the assignment.
Documentation: the last annual accounts. The contracting authority reserves the right to obtain a credit assessment itself.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Requirement 1: tenderers must have implemented environmental management measures.
This means that the tenderer must have established methods for working actively and systematically with reducing negative environmental impact from the tenderer activities related to the implementation of this contract.
Documentation: a description of the tenderer's environmental management measures. If a tenderer is certified, it is sufficient to attach a copy of a certificate issued by independent bodies, which confirms compliance with certain environmental management standards.

Requirement 2: tenderers must have a quality assurance system suitable for the delivery.
Documentation: documentation of the tenderer´s quality assurance system.
If the tenderer is certified, it is sufficient to enclose copies of certificates issued by independent bodies. If a tenderer is not certified, it is sufficient to attach the table of contents for the quality assurance system.
Requirement 3: good experience is required from equivalent assignments.
Equivalent assignments mean: Renovation of crematoriums with an equivalent size and scope as Alfaset, as well as experience with relaying brick ovens.
Documentation: an overview of the tenderer's five most important, relevant projects in the last 5 years.
The overview shall state:
— the project's value;
— contract form;
— start-up and completion of the project;
— the contracting authority/builder (title, name, telephone and email of the contracting authority's contact person);
— brief, written description of the project, pleas add a link to the project if it is presented on the internet.
Requirement 4: tenderers must have sufficient technical and professional qualifications to fulfil the contract. It is important that the tenderer has service and maintenance resources in Norway.
Documentation: A description of the the technical personnel or technical units that the tenderer has at its disposal to fulfil the contract. CVs are not to be submitted for this requirement.
