The contract is for the replacement of the shale roof at Vestre Gravlund, Nye Kapell, which is located at Borgen underground station with an entrance to Sørkedalsveien, and has a capacity of 180 persons. The chapel was constructed in 1930 and completed in 1937. Parts of the roof are original from construction years, while some have been replaced at a later date. This procurement is for a contract for the expansion of Lørenskog cemetery and graveyard. The graveyard will be expanded to the north of the existing graveyard, which it will border.
Lørenskog municipality needs more graves, as the municipality's grave reserve is lower than the capacity requirement given in the Funeral Act. The graveyard expansion will cover the need for new graves 10 years into the future.

2012-11-22Maintenance of flowerbeds at grave sites (Sandefjord kommune)
Sandefjord municipality, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall procure services involving maintenance of grave sites at cemeteries and graveyards. The maintenance includes approx. 3 600 grave sites divided between Orelund graveyard, Ekeberg graveyard, Sandefjord and Sandar cemeteries.
