Framework Agreement for Digitization of Paper Documents Archives

Arkivverket (the National Archives) needs assistance with the digitisation of paper documents archives so that these can be made available digitally to the public, the administration and their own case officers on digitalarkivet.no. We therefor wants to sign a framework agreement on digitalisation.
Arkivverket (the National Archives) performs large parts of the digitisation internally and at the National Library in Mo i Rana. However, we want to increase the volume of digitisation in the next periods. The part of the digitisation that external suppliers are to carry out can be executed in the National Archives' premises in Trondheim and/or in the provider's premises. An agreement shall be signed with one provider.
Please note that the paper-based archive documents may contain sensitive information that constitutes the documentation of the rights of living persons. This means that everyone who handles the physical documents and digitised versions thereof is subject to a duty of confidentiality.
