After the implementation, school owners, managers and employees in schools and before-and-after-school care must have strengthened their competence in developing and maintaining a safe and good school environment, as well as preventing, uncovering, and dealing with unhappiness, outsiderness, and violations such as bullying, violence, discrimination, and harassment. The competence package must also contribute to strengthening the school owners' role of being responsible for competence development and for the pupils' school environment. When working on the pupils' school environment, the school will sometimes need to cooperate with services and actors outside the school, such as the school health service, PPT, BUP, or child welfare. It is therefore important that the competence package stimulates multi-sectorial cooperation.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The Directorate would also like to agree an option for any in-depth modules for other relevant target groups in the work with school environments, such as PPT and the school health service.
The Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training will decide whether to take up the option by 1 July 2024.
We estimate that the total value of the options will be up to NOK 1 500 000 excluding VAT.
