This procurement is for the first category, service desk and client services. NRK would like to enter into a contract with a collaboration partner who can provide both services.
NRK will achieve the following effects by outsourcing the operation of the service desk and client services:
1) Better quality;
2) Increased scalability and flexibility;
3) Continual improvements as regards efficiency, standardisation and automation;
4) Freeing up resources for use within production content and broadcasting.
Furthermore, the vision for the service desk and client services is standardised services based on all user needs with a high degree of automation and self-service. 7 areas are seen as particularly important: user focus, quality and stability, automation, continual improvements, proactiveness, standardisation, and self-service.
