New Airport Mo i Rana

Polarsirkelen Lufthavnsutvikling AS

New airport Mo i Rana is an airport in category 4D/E by the E12 just to the east of Mo i Rana (Fagerlia). The project roughly includes, in addition to a runway of 2 400 m, apron places for 6 planes, a terminal building of approx. 6 000 m, a service building of approx. 4 000 m, operational and maintenance equipment, car parks for 580 passenger cars, connection to municipal water and sewage network, alterations to existing power lines, power and energy supply, as well as a dual carriageway access road with a foot/cycle path from the E12. The airport must comply with the range for the dominating aircraft types that operate scheduled, charter and freight routes (reference codes 4F, 4E, 4C and 3C), and it must have instrumentation that ensures high regularity. Construction start as soon as possible, with the aim of commissioning by Q3, 2022.
