Nordland Fylkeskommune

Nordland County shall in 2019 enter into a contract for wireless network and hereby invites tenderers to a tender contest for the wireless network.
Nordland County has 16 sixth form colleges (divided in more than 50 locations/connections) and tens of other agencies/locations, all with WAN connections to the County Hall and a common internet access from a centralised core network in the County Hall in Bodø.
The schools vary in size from approx. 100 to over 1 000 students, and have a WAN connection to the County Hall on 100, 300 or 600 Mbps, depending on size and need.
Wireless network is the primary network connection for our users, consisting of approx. 3 500 employees and 10 000 students.
The requirement specification is given in SSA-K and SSA-V, Annex 1. The tenderer must reply to the requirement specification and fill-in other relevant annexes.

The current wireless network consists of:
4 x Juniper WLC 2800 and 2 x Juniper Virtuelle WLC wlan-controllers placed in the core network in the County Hall.
Approx. 1 300 Juniper WLA532 access points out in the local networks.
