The Norwegian Environment Agency shall enter into an agreement with an operator for user support and daily operation of the Cervids Register (www.hjortevilregisteret.no). The operator shall be responsible for user support for the database and the network systems. The technical operation of the Cervids Register is not included in the agreement, but is safeguarded by a separate technical service provider. The primary users of the Cervids Register is public administration, research institutions, rightful owners and cervid hunters. The primary assignment for the operator is i.a.:
— user support and user dialogue,
— further development and error reports to the technical service provider at the base,
— reporting, communicating results and marketing of the Cervids Register to users.
