The contract is a multi-disciplinary execution contract on the stretch from Venjar on the Gardermo railway to Eidsvoll North on the Dovre railway. The contract includes the following disciplines:

The tenderer shall design the internal switchgear in the new clutch casing at Eidsvoll station.
There is a separate contract for signals on the stretch. In addition, parts of the tele installations will be provided by Bane Nor's framework agreement suppliers. The total length of the stretch where a double track shall be constructed is approx. 9 km.

A new track shall be established to the east of the existing track between Venjar and Eidsvoll station. Four new single track railway bridges shall be established parallel to the existing railway bridges. These are:
— Nessa, span length 145 m
— Kvisldalen, span length 224.5 m
— Mork, span length 181 m
— Ålborgveien 126.5 m
New concrete culverts, 108 m and 7 m respectively, shall be constructed by and parallel to the two existing culverts Dønnumryggen and Bjerkegutua service culvert, for the new track.
Wergelands tunnel shall be established through uncompacted matter just to the south of Eidsvoll station. The tunnel will be 380 m long and will run parallel to the existing tunnel. The tunnel is to be constructed as a ‘cut and cover’ tunnel.
The route will be expanded and there will be new cuttings and fillings on the stretch.
Nothing is to be done to the buildings at Eidsvoll station, except internal adaptations for new usage in Eidsvoll clutch casing / HK22. The station building and platforms are to be kept, but the track arrangement is to be changed/altered. The existing signal installations (Simis C installations from Siemens) are to be kept on the stretch Venjar — Eidsvoll, but there will be adaptations for the new track arrangement at Eidsvoll station.

The station building and platforms are to be kept, but the track arrangement is to be changed/altered.
