Execution of questionnaire survey RNNP 2017

As part of the Petroleum Safety Authority's (Ptil) project ‘Development in risk levels of Norwegian petroleum activities’ (RNNP) a questionnaire survey shall be carried out among almost all personnel working on the Norwegian Continental shelf and at petroleum facilities on land. The questionnaire survey shall be performed in the period 16.10.2017 to and including 27.11.2017 and reporting in February and March 2018 in accordance with the assignment description.
A separate questionnaire form has been developed for diving personnel where data capture shall occur throughout the whole of 2018 with consequent analysis and reporting in the first quarter of 2019.

Kort beskrivelse:
The main survey is a follow up of equivalent surveys that have been carried out biannually in the period 2001 — 2015 on the shelf, and in 2007 — 2015 on the land facilities. A general goal of the questionnaire survey is to follow the development of employees experiences of different aspects related to the health, environment and safety (HSE) conditions and how such perceptions changes over time. The survey includes all employees in the Petroleum Safety Authority's area of responsibility, i.e. all operational employees and contractor employees and suppliers who work on the shelf and within ‘the fences’ of the land based petroleum installations.

A separate questionnaire form has been developed for diving personnel where data capture shall occur throughout the whole of 2018 with consequent analysis of answers. The questionnaire shall be distributed in printed version on all diving vessels (approx. Four to five with 50 — 100 persons per ship) through the diving contractor, collection of data shall occur in the same manner as in the main survey.

Initially this diver survey shall be done in 2018. Analysis of results shall be done in the same format as the main survey for offshore personnel in general.
