Hell-Værnes, E11 — Alteration of the existing NSI-63 relay system

In connection with the project Hell-Værnes High Speed Increase and Capacity, and as as result of a new bridge over the Stjørdal river, alterations shall be made to the existing signal installations at Hell station. Hell station has a relay system of type NSI-63.
The signal work includes:
1. The establishment (and removal) of temporary signal installations in 3 directions at Hell station;
2. The demolition of the existing external signal installations on the station's B side;
3. The construction of new complete external signal installations on the station's B side with the following main elements:
a. New signals (7 main signal, 4 distant signals, 7 high switching signals);
b. Assembly of new driving machines (total 16) on new tracks;
c. 3 sidings secured with E-lock (points and track blocking equipment with driving machines);
d. DATC;
e. The accompanying cable installations approx. 20 000 m cable;
4. Alterations of the accompanying internal safety system.

Internal safety installations shall be re-built and ready for the final inspection approx. 1.11.2016.4. The permanent installations shall be commissioned on a weekend with no trains 26-27.11.2016.5. Removal of the temporary signal installations after the permanent signal installations have been altered.
