The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training announces a competitive tendering for travel agency services.
The contracting authority has approximately 1 200 employees, of whom 350 are employed by the Directorate for Education and Training. In addition to permanent staff, there is a larger number of remote workers who travel on the contracting authority's expense/commission.

Last year's statistics show that the contracting authority's largest volume was approximately 6000 flight bookings (including both one and two-way trips), and total travel costs through our current contractual partner is around 35 000 000 NOK. In addition, we spent about 30 000 000 NOK on conference services last year.
About 1500–2000 people travel annually on the contracting authority's account. The trips often involved group travel for 20 to 150 people. Once a year, examiner meetings are held with up to 1 000 participants from across the country. In addition, examiner meetings take place after graduation in December. Scoring of national examinations take place annually. These evaluations may be distributed over a period of one to two months.
