As the DSS is responsible for providing and administering TV signals in the joint ministries, there is a need to procure a subscription for the service. A contract is therefore wanted with a service provider who can provide digital access to TV and radio channels.
The contract will include the delivery of signals up to the agreed interface.
Other related equipment components can be included if there is a need in the contract period.

The contract's value is estimated to 4,900,000 NOK including VAT over a 4 year period.The estimate is made on the basis of the current consumption and is thus not binding for the contracting authority. The amount in the contract can, therefore, be both more or less per annum than the estimate given in the tender documents.Contracts will be signed with one service provider who can cover DSS' need for a subscription for cable-TV over a four year period. The contract will be for 4 years from when it is signed.
