Module/container based surgeries (OP theatres), UNN Tromsø

Universitetssykehuset Nord-Norge HF

The University Hospital UNN Tromsø will start reconstruction and new construction of the A-wing in autumn 2015. In this regard there is a need to substitute parts of the operating activity out in the temporary building to ensure the hospitals operation during the building period. 4 surgeries will be planned and delivered ready for operation 1.3.2014. The total operational time shall continue throughout 2018. Thereafter the modules/containers shall be relocated.
Short description of the prerequisites:
— 4 surgeries (OR theatres) for outpatient surgery with an option for a fifth module.
— Complete with technical medical equipment and technical building facilities.
— Minimum 30 m² net floor space per module.
— Mobile/reusable after the end of the operational period.
— Turnkey, including integration function tests (interface to the building contractor) and training of personnel.
— Modules/containers will be connected to other temporary buildings which will be constructed by the turnkey contractor.
— Module/container supplier plans transfer of contract to the turnkey contractor.
— Norwegian building codes/requirements shall be ensured.
— Fire requirement on exterior walls against other buildings and 4 meters out from this; requirement EI 60 A2-s1.d0 (A 60).
Planned progress:
— Handing in prequalification application: 11.8.2014.
— Dispatch of tender documentation: 15.8.2014.
— Tender deadline: 29.8.2014.
— Submission of tender: 29.8.2014.
— Contracting: 12.9.2014.
— Production/assembling time declared by the supplier.
— Finished assembly: 1.2.2015.
— Turnkey contractor and module supplier's commissioning and testing: 1.2.2015 - 1.3.2015.
— Trial run period: 1.3.2015 - 1.6.2015.
— The Contractor's trial run and total test, as well as moving in: 1.3.2015 - 15.4.2015.
— Training: 1.3.2015 - 15.4.2015.
— Normal operation (first planned operation): 15.4.2015.
— Acquisition of contracts: 1.6.2015.
